PRODUCER

Angela Gourley is an award-winning producer and BAFTA member with a dynamic career spanning scripted drama, feature film and high-end factual. Her credits include Borat, projects with Bear Grylls and Gold Rush, showcasing a rare breadth of experience across both entertainment and large-scale international productions.

A highly skilled development producer with a history of work as a script editor, Angela has collaborated with emerging and established writers, building strong relationships with leading agencies including Independent Talent Group, WME and Curtis Brown. Her work is rooted in sharp story development, creative instinct and a deep understanding of the audience.

Most recently, Angela raised finance for a short film that won multiple festival awards and international sales, alongside producing two independent features. She is currently developing and financing further projects while continuing to work across production and development.

Earlier in her career, she cast Bradley Cooper on Globe Trekker, which she later series produced - a testament to her eye for talent and long-standing impact across formats. She has led crews of 50+ and managed budgets of up to £10M, delivering complex international productions with precision.

Angela is a 2023 Edinburgh International Film Festival Talent Lab alumni, an EAVE Marketing & Distribution alumna, and was selected for the 2024 Creative England Market Trader and Investment Readiness programmes.

Angela is also the founder of Amber Eye Films, a company championing bold, character-driven storytelling with a commercial edge - with a focus on female-led, feel-good genre films that combine strong concepts with real audience connection.

Angela is currently on a look out for producer roles in HETV and feature films. She’s eligible for the ScreenSkills Co-Producer Programme and has been mentored by Will Johnston (Lookout Point) and Elizabeth Karlsen (Number 9 Films).
