Over 15 years ago, a tutor handed Gerardo a boom pole and introduced him to life on set. What began as a love of storytelling through various art forms soon became a passion for bringing stories to life through sound.

After moving to the UK, Gerardo spent years balancing a full-time office job with evenings and weekends making music videos and independent films. Then, in the middle of lockdown, he took a leap of faith - leaving the security of his job, investing his house deposit in sound equipment, and launching his freelance career full-time. The gamble paid off.

Since then, Gerardo has worked on nine feature films, the Paris 2024 Olympic & Paralympic Games, and hundreds of productions for clients including ITV, Sky, Dyson, Lloyds and the Royal Horticultural Society..

Known for his calm presence, meticulous approach, and collaborative mindset, Gerardo is passionate about supporting stories from pre-production through to the final take.
