Nadine is a writer/director of Irish and Jamaican origin who makes sharp, funny, and deeply human films about misfits searching for connection.
Nadine is a BAFTA Connect member, an Associate Member of Directors UK, and was selected for the BFI Midlands Directors Lab 2024 - firmly marking her as a talent to watch.
Her writing is already making waves:
VIDEO NASTY was longlisted for the Funny Women Awards (Best Comedy Writing) and shortlisted for the BBC Comedy Collective (top 5%).
She wrote the BFI-funded short RUSHED, which won Best Breakout at the Windrush Caribbean Film Festival.
In 2025, she was awarded BFI Early Development Funding for her debut feature Samefood.
It was then comissioned in 2026.
With a distinctive voice, razor-sharp comedy instincts, and a real tenderness for outsiders, Nadine’s work is bold, heartfelt, and unmistakably her own.
